21 Jump Street

21
Jump Street (2012)

Description:
21 Jump Street is an american movie, showing us the lives of two police officers, Morton Schmidt, a chubby nerd, and Greg Jenko, a typical jock. After Jenko fails at a great opportunity to arrest a drug dealer Domingo, all because he didn't read out his Miranda Rights, the pair are sent to go undercover as high school students, to stop the spread of a new drug called "Holy Fucking Shit" or H.F.S. What seems like an easy task really leaves the two helpless, hopeless, and hilarious in this action/comedy film.

Review:

In my opinion, 21 Jump Street isn't exactly the best comedy I've seem, but it does have some funny quotes, and who can forget Korean Jesus? But anyway, the film had a well thought out story, which now days we don't see much in comedy's, well, in any movies for that matter, and that is why I like this movie, it may seem like a joke, but at some points it really did prove that drugs suck balls, but damn, any high person will always look hysterical! But go on, see for yourself! If you already have, what did you think?

Hallowe'en

Hallowe'en

One of my favourite times of year. Where I live, we don't really celebrate it much, but hopefully this year we'll be having a party. I absolutely love being able to dress up, it's really fun, and it's quite entertaining to be able to see what other people dress up as. And come on, you get free candy!! YUM! But, a lot of people are completely against it. A few years ago I went trick or treating and we went to this one house and the lady chased us away with a crucifix, thinking we were real demons! Unbelievable, but whatever. I've grown up loving everything spooky. I mean, sure, scary as hell sometimes, but it's just as intriguing. Anyway, I hope this year mum will let me go out with my friends again. (She's not a big fan of me going out at night, even if I've got my friends with me).
Please, comment what your opinion is on Hallowe'en or funny/scary stories or experiences you've heard/had.

Update!

Hey!!So, I'm on chapter 9 of my wattpad story and I'm getting excited! I love writing and I really hope everyone likes my story! I'm not very good and my story's pretty weird but I hope everyone likes it! And I'd LOVE to hear your opinions, even if you don't like it, please tell me. That way I can make it better. For those of you who haven't seen it or read it yet, here's the summary;
Stella is an eight-teen year old, well known street fighter, who finds herself in an unfortunate situation. It ends up being a good thing, when she gets buddied up with Harry Styles, and eventually becomes friends with all the boys. Their friendship grows, and soon they realize they might be feeling something more. Living a dangerous life, Stella refuses to let the boys get caught in the cross-fire, so in an effort to protect them she pushes them all away and goes against what she feels. Will they end up together, and work through their differences, or will she push them away until they give up? Please if you have any ideas or suggestions tell me in the comments! ~The Elf

Despicable Me 2 (2013)

Despicable Me 2 (2013)
Movie Information
"Reformed super villain Gru (voiced in a broad European accent by comedy superstar Steve Carell) has settled into his life as the adoptive father of the three little girls from the first movie when a British organisation known as the Anti-Villain League sends a female agent (Kristen Wiig, who voiced a different character in the first film) to recruit him.
The AVL want Gru to help them track down a chemical that is turning everyday items and people into indestructible killing machines. After initially resisting, Gru eventually accepts the assignment, which involves going undercover in a mall." By Dominic Corry http://www.nzherald.co.nz/
My Review
Loved this movie! It was funny, family friendly, and just a great adventure. Not to mention it was ADORABLE! Seriously, I'm in love with all the minions and Agnes was like OH MY GOD soooo cute. I love how Gru's personality didn't really change, but he was so much nicer and obviously family orientated. It's not like the plot was very interesting or anything like that, but the movie was so cute, it's great for kids or anyone who just wants to watch a random movie for a laugh.
I absolutely love the minions, seriously they're amazing little guys.
Dave is one of my ultimate favourites (The first picture).

I mean, he's adorable, he loves ice-cream, he's great at making food like cupcakes and he's good at playing video games. Plus, his signature weapon is a rocket launcher, what more can you ask for?
Stuart is another one of my favourites, because he's playful, funny, and I'm pretty sure he's Dave's best friend! (Second picture)

I also loved his parts in the movie, he was always funny!
Donny, Carl, Phil and Kevin were also favourites in Despicable Me 2, they had a few very funny moments and the fact that Phil was in a maid's outfit through out the movie was great, and Donny's head was in a jar. It was great.
I definitely recommend everyone should go watch it! If you've seen it, or even the first Despicable Me, who was your favourite minion?

Smile - Avril Lavigne

Song of The Month!

Smile
By Avril Lavigne

I'm loving this song at the moment! Avril Lavigne's always been one of my favourite singers, she always has great messages in her songs and she's very out there. Her style is very unique and I love the fact that she just doesn't care what people think!
Her music is really good and I love her music videos. I've been a fan since I was like six or something. She's a great role model, because she doesn't care what people think, but she isn't s*utty or anything like that.
I hope she has a lot more albums to come and hope she has many more years of making amazing music and being a great role model.
Personality wise, she's also amazing because if you've ever seen any interview of her, you can see that she's very care free and funny. She seems like a great person, all of you other Avril fans out there probably think so too. I think more people should listen to her music, she's amazing! A lot of people don't like her because of some of the things she's done, but honestly she hasn't done anything wrong. She's just being herself and doing what she loves to do. Plus, she doesn't care if people don't like her music. If you don't like it, why are you listening to it?
What do you think?

Pacific Rim Movie Review

   Pacific Rim (2013)

Description:
Pacific Rim is a movie set in the nearby future where monsters humans have named Kaiju attack the earth, but humans manage fight back using giant robots named Jaeger. Raleigh Becket was once a pilot of the Jaeger Gypsy Danger, until his brother died fighting along side him, after that he went into building walls to defend cities from the Kaiju, but then Commander Pentecost wants him back on the team, leading Raleigh into some of his toughest fights yet. . .

Review:
I really enjoyed Pacific Rim, it's not often you see a Sci-fi, giant robot, action film that looks as realistic as this one. The story was well written and it was amazing to see Mako's and Pentecost's story join together without their type of relationship being completely obvious. To be honest the only bad part of the movie was the credits cut-scene, it was unnecessary and added an irritating humor. A part from that it was a great movie, definitely one worth watching. If you've seen it, did you enjoy it as much as I did?

But that's my opinion, see for yourself!

The Losers Review

The Losers (2010)

Description:
The Losers is an action as well as comedy film based off the comic by Andy Diggle and Jock. It follows an elite Black-ops team that includes five men, each with their own specific talent. They are:
Lt. Col. Franklin Clay- Operational control.
Cpt. William Roque- Demo & Tactics
Cpt. Jake Jensen- Comms & Tech
Sgt. Linwood 'Pooch' Porteous- Transport & Heavy Weapons
And finally Sgt. Carlos 'Cougar' Alvarez- Long range eliminations.
The movie starts with the team in Bolivia, where they must destroy a compound run by a drug lord, until Cougar spots children on the premises. After Clay attempts to stop the plane that is about to drop the bomb he finds out that an unknown man by the name of Max is controlling it, and does not care for the children, so instead the team runs in and saves them, whilst killing the Drug lord. Once they get back to the helicopter they are unable to fit both them and the kids, so it's them, but as it begins to fly off it gets hit by a missile fired by Max. The losers are left in the ruins of ash and corpses that Clay stated "should have been them" knowing that they fake their deaths, forcing them to be stranded in Bolivia. After four months of being all most broke and homeless, Clay finds Aisha, a woman who has some information on Max, and she assists them on a new mission- to find Max and get revenge. This leads to twists and turns, lots of shooting, and a hilarious adventure.

The Dwarf's Review:
I enjoyed The Losers, it's rare to see an action film that includes so many genuinely funny quotes. It was also nice to see a few familiar faces, like Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers) & Jeffery Dean Morgan (John Winchester). The film didn't cover the entire comic but I believe that's a good thing, (WARNING: Comic Spoilers) In the comic most of the team die, in truly awful and depressing ways, so If they included that in the movie it would be Bridge to Terabithia all over again, and nobody would want that. Over all the movie was great, I certainly recommend everybody to watch it, but that's just my opinion. What did you think?
That's all folks! Ciao!
