Singularity

Singularity

Singularity is a game developed by Raven Software and published by Activision. You battle your way through Katorga-12, jumping through time, trying to fix your mistakes.
The game starts when an electromagnetic pulse knocks out an American satellite and the U.S military decide to investigate. They send some soldiers, including Captain Nathaniel Renko, but another surge destroys their helicopter.
After the crash, Renko starts going between the present and 1955, which is when a catastrophic accident on Katorga-12 occurs. He arrives in time to save a scientist named Nikolai Demichev from falling into a fire, despite a man warning him not to.
When Renko arrives back in the present, he realizes that Demichev has taken over the world. The rest of the game are missions where you try to prevent that from happening.

My Review

The game play is very much like most of the Call of Duty series, but you can customize your character (Renko) so that he is stronger in some ways and weaker in others. You can also choose which gun you want to improve and upgrade the most, those parts are more like Bioshock and Borderlands. There are some creepy parts where you can see and hear ghosts from the past, and a lot of them are children, which just makes it creepier.
I personally enjoyed the game. It was good because although you were technically going back into the past, it had a futuristic feel. With the TMD, or Time Manipulation Device, it makes it seem more futuristic. It's a good first person shooter game and it has a multiplayer feature, similar to Call of Duty. The graphics were brilliant and made the game better. This game is definitely not family friendly being rated PEGI 18+. It has a lot of blood, guts and gore. Despite that, it's still a brilliant game and I think more people should play it. This is MY personal opinion, if you have anything to say please keep it clean. Or I will shoot you. Jk..... Mostly. Seriously though, what did you think?

My Review:
I thought this movie was actually really good, there are some funny quotes and some interesting scenes and it's nice to see a good comic on the big screen. It's not the best movie I've every seen, but it was really funny and interesting. Although I didn't think some of the special effects were very realistic, there are some pretty awesome parts where they make the movie even better. The movie's pretty fast paced, but it's strange and interesting and it makes the movie worth watching. I wouldn't say this movie is family friendly, there are some parts that might not be appropriate for young children. I think it depends on the parents, but the actual rating is PG13. For me it was a surprisingly entertaining movie, but I know not everyone enjoyed it. The movie isn't brilliant and the special effects don't help, but honestly it's still worth watching if you're just looking for a funny, fast pace movie to watch if you want to pass the time and have a laugh. If you've seen it, what did you think?

Update!

Update!

So sorry guys! :(
We (meaning, mainly me) have been soooo busy in the last nine or something weeks! I've barely had a chance to check my Facebook messages, let alone update the blog, Wattpad and Twitter. I don't know if The Dwarf's been doing anything on Tumblr, but we've both been busy with exams and other stuff at home. I finally updated my Wattpad, which is now all the way up to Chapter 12 and I'll probably update with Chapter 13 in the next week, if I get the chance.
The Elder is taking some time off from his busy schedule and will probably be updating for the first time pretty soon.
I've been coming up with a few new ideas for another story on Wattpad since I recently found a K-Pop band that I love, but I'm not really sure where I want that story to go and haven't figured out some of the other details, so I probably won't be posting a new story until I figure that out, and since I'm still writing Saviour, it will be difficult to keep up with everything.
Hopefully everything'll work out, though.

Crooked - G-Dragon

Song of The Month!

Crooked
By G-Dragon

I know it isn't in English, but I couldn't help it! I love this song so much at the moment, I can't stop listening to it. The song is actually sad, but the beat's good and I love the video, even though he's a bit strange. If you wanna know what he's singing about here's a link to the English lyrics;
http://www.kpoplyrics.net/.  G-Dragon made his official debut as the leader of the K-Pop group, Big Bang, after six years of training under YG Entertainment in 2006. The group consists of G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Daesung and Seungri. G-Dragon and Taeyang (or Dong Yongbae) had already released several singles together by then, though, as the hip-hop duo GDYB. G-Dragon is extremely talented. Although all members of Big Bang have released solo albums, they're still together and are meant to be releasing a new single by the end of the year.
I only really started getting into K-Pop about a year ago, but it really is amazing! G-Drgaon is one of my favourite artists because he is talented in many different ways. He is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer, lyricist, producer, model, endorser and fashion icon.
He's won dozens of awards and he's only 25!
Conclusion; G-Dragon is insanely talented, as are the rest of Big Bang, and you should really check out some of his songs. What do you think of his music?

Diana - One Direction

Song of The Month!

Diana
By One Direction

I know, I know! Not everyone loves One Direction, but too bad because I do! This song is actually really good, even if you aren't a huge fan, it's still good and I think you should have a listen! There are a lot theories behind the lyrics, but to be honest I think a lot of people are getting a bit far fetched. I have no idea what the song is about, but it is kind of saying that you shouldn't give up even if you feel like you aren't good enough, because there is someone out there who still wants you around, and you might mean everything to them without even knowing it.
Anyway, I love this song and thought I'd share it with you guys! What do you think the story is behind the song?

The Monster - Eminem ft. Rihanna

Song of The Month!

The Monster
By Eminem ft. Rihanna

I love this song! It's brilliant! I've always loved Eminem and I loved his colab with Rihanna the first time with 'Love the Way You Lie' and I think this one's also amazing!

Eminem is inspiring and although he isn't the best role model at times, his music always means something to a lot of people, it's not just some random thing you hear on the radio, most of the time. He is a idol to a lot of people because he is proof that anything can happen and that you can come from nothing and still become so huge. What do you think of his latest hit?

21 Jump Street

21
Jump Street (2012)

Description:
21 Jump Street is an american movie, showing us the lives of two police officers, Morton Schmidt, a chubby nerd, and Greg Jenko, a typical jock. After Jenko fails at a great opportunity to arrest a drug dealer Domingo, all because he didn't read out his Miranda Rights, the pair are sent to go undercover as high school students, to stop the spread of a new drug called "Holy Fucking Shit" or H.F.S. What seems like an easy task really leaves the two helpless, hopeless, and hilarious in this action/comedy film.

Review:

In my opinion, 21 Jump Street isn't exactly the best comedy I've seem, but it does have some funny quotes, and who can forget Korean Jesus? But anyway, the film had a well thought out story, which now days we don't see much in comedy's, well, in any movies for that matter, and that is why I like this movie, it may seem like a joke, but at some points it really did prove that drugs suck balls, but damn, any high person will always look hysterical! But go on, see for yourself! If you already have, what did you think?
Ciao!

Hallowe'en

Hallowe'en

One of my favourite times of year. Where I live, we don't really celebrate it much, but hopefully this year we'll be having a party. I absolutely love being able to dress up, it's really fun, and it's quite entertaining to be able to see what other people dress up as. And come on, you get free candy!! YUM! But, a lot of people are completely against it. A few years ago I went trick or treating and we went to this one house and the lady chased us away with a crucifix, thinking we were real demons! Unbelievable, but whatever. I've grown up loving everything spooky. I mean, sure, scary as hell sometimes, but it's just as intriguing. Anyway, I hope this year mum will let me go out with my friends again. (She's not a big fan of me going out at night, even if I've got my friends with me).
Please, comment what your opinion is on Hallowe'en or funny/scary stories or experiences you've heard/had.

Update!

Hey!!So, I'm on chapter 9 of my wattpad story and I'm getting excited! I love writing and I really hope everyone likes my story! I'm not very good and my story's pretty weird but I hope everyone likes it! And I'd LOVE to hear your opinions, even if you don't like it, please tell me. That way I can make it better. For those of you who haven't seen it or read it yet, here's the summary;
Stella is an eight-teen year old, well known street fighter, who finds herself in an unfortunate situation. It ends up being a good thing, when she gets buddied up with Harry Styles, and eventually becomes friends with all the boys. Their friendship grows, and soon they realize they might be feeling something more. Living a dangerous life, Stella refuses to let the boys get caught in the cross-fire, so in an effort to protect them she pushes them all away and goes against what she feels. Will they end up together, and work through their differences, or will she push them away until they give up? Please if you have any ideas or suggestions tell me in the comments! ~The Elf

Despicable Me 2 (2013)

Despicable Me 2 (2013)
Movie Information
"Reformed super villain Gru (voiced in a broad European accent by comedy superstar Steve Carell) has settled into his life as the adoptive father of the three little girls from the first movie when a British organisation known as the Anti-Villain League sends a female agent (Kristen Wiig, who voiced a different character in the first film) to recruit him.
The AVL want Gru to help them track down a chemical that is turning everyday items and people into indestructible killing machines. After initially resisting, Gru eventually accepts the assignment, which involves going undercover in a mall." By Dominic Corry http://www.nzherald.co.nz/
My Review
Loved this movie! It was funny, family friendly, and just a great adventure. Not to mention it was ADORABLE! Seriously, I'm in love with all the minions and Agnes was like OH MY GOD soooo cute. I love how Gru's personality didn't really change, but he was so much nicer and obviously family orientated. It's not like the plot was very interesting or anything like that, but the movie was so cute, it's great for kids or anyone who just wants to watch a random movie for a laugh.
I absolutely love the minions, seriously they're amazing little guys.
Dave is one of my ultimate favourites (The first picture).

I mean, he's adorable, he loves ice-cream, he's great at making food like cupcakes and he's good at playing video games. Plus, his signature weapon is a rocket launcher, what more can you ask for?
Stuart is another one of my favourites, because he's playful, funny, and I'm pretty sure he's Dave's best friend! (Second picture)

I also loved his parts in the movie, he was always funny!
Donny, Carl, Phil and Kevin were also favourites in Despicable Me 2, they had a few very funny moments and the fact that Phil was in a maid's outfit through out the movie was great, and Donny's head was in a jar. It was great.
I definitely recommend everyone should go watch it! If you've seen it, or even the first Despicable Me, who was your favourite minion?
